Celebrate the Moment with Au Chocolate

Sorry I have fallen off the face of the earth!! I have been spending every spare moment getting ready for my first craft show this Saturday and my DD (4 yo) just had her tonsils out today. She did well, but boy am I exhausted. I'm sure that's how the rest of the week will go too. I just hope she has a good recovery.....I think I should buy some stock in popsicles!

I never ever use this paper because I like it too much!! Doesn't make much sense, does it?? Well, I only have limited space in my craft room, so I'm trying really hard to use what I have before I go out and get more. I just love this card. It think it looks so elegant. The Au Chocolate DSP is retired from SU!, ribbon is from a ribbon share I did and the sentiment is from GinaK Designs. Those sentiments fit perfectly into the SU! Window Word punch. My mom asked for cards for her birthday and this is one of them. I hope she likes it! Enjoy your day!

Zoofari Baby

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. As I mentioned before, the little one hasn't been sleeping and has been running a fever for the past few days. I have gotten NO SLEEP whatsoever. She will sleep well for the first hour or so that she is down, and then is up EVERY 20 minutes, like clockwork!! Then she'll sleep for an hour or so and then be up every 20 minutes for the next few hours. My DH have been taking 4 hours shifts to get us through the weekend (he's trying to study for his last MBA class) and I'm just so darn exhausted from the past week, that I could fall asleep eating....if I had energy to eat! LOL!

Here is a card that I made for friends of ours that had a baby girl. I used the CB Swiss Dots folder on Chocolate Chip. It's layered on Pretty In Pink. This is one of the color combination that was suggested back when I offered the Birthday Candy....thanks for the color suggestion. I like these colors together. I used Zoofari from SU! and the sentiment is from MFT - Essential Sentiments. The border along the pink scalloped oval is from GinaK Designs ( I just now noticed that I forgot to note that on my picture. oops!) Ribbon is from May Arts. No more energy to type....sorry! Baby Announcements - Finished!

I finally finished up with the baby announcements that I was working on. (see earlier post) Since I am only a hobby demonstrator, I have to space out my orders so I can make sure that I have enough to meet my quotas every quarter. Saying that, I have absolutely no white paper left and am running out of many other staple colors that I use. So, I had to be crafty and do a card that I wasn't using too many layers on and had to use colors that I had. I was only able to make 10 cards for my friend....because I ran out of Whisper White paper! Have I said yet that I've run out of white paper???

Birth Announcements

First, thank you to Deb & Allison for helping me with my color issues. (see earlier post) I think because I have two girls, I am always leaning towards "girlie" color combinations....teals, pinks, purples, etc. I just blank when I have to come up with a gender neutral card. I have more announcments to make and will take the color advice from Deb & Allison. But in the meantime, I made a couple of these up. I feel like they are a little boring, so I think by adding Bashful Blue and So Saffron (like they suggested), it will liven up the card a little more. I am making these for a surprise for a friend of mine who doesn't know what she is having. I hope she like them!

Camryn is down sleeping and Emerson is playing so quietly, so now is my time to get some cleaning done! Thanks for looking! (sorry the lighting is so bad in the picture...I just couldn't get it to turn out today.)
